Effect
Acerola Alkaloid is a food supplement in the daily diet. Vitamin C is an essential vitamin that is soluble in water.
Vitamin C helps to maintain normal immune function during intense exercising and afterwards. It also contributes to normal production of collagen, thus ensuring normal functioning of blood vessels, skin, bones, cartilage, teeth and gums. It contributes to the normal energy – yielding metabolism, normal functioning of the nervous system and normal psychological functioning. Vitamin C contributes to reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Vitamin C helps to protect cells from oxidative stress.
Vitamin C increases the absorption of iron.
Use
Acerola Alkaloid tablets are used in conditions where there is increased need for vitamin C.
Adults 1 tablet per day.
Packing
Acerola Alkaloid tablets are packed in blisters (OPA/ALU/PVC).
Each blister contains 6 chewable tablets.
Carton box contains 30 chewable tablets (5 blisters) and a patient leaflet.

Indications
Prevention and treatment of vitamin C deficiency (hypovitaminosis and scurvy)
Conditions with an increased need for vitamin C (hemodialysis, neoplasms, tendency to bleed, elevated body temperature, after surgical interventions, in wounds and burns that are difficult to heal, iron-deficiency anemia, methemoglobinemia, in the period of growth, fatigue, diet poor in vitamin C.
Dosage
Acerola Alkaloid 40 mg:
Children aged 3 to 11: 1 tablet per day.
Children over 11: 2 tablets per day.
Acerola Alkaloid 180 mg:
adults and children over 14: 1 tablet per day
